Lead / Sales Advisor (CFP)Location: Winter Garden, FLWe’re hiring a Lead / Sales Advisor on behalf of our client—a growing financial planning and wealth management firm based in Winter Garden, Florida.Role SummaryThe Lead / Sales Advisor is a senior-level advisor responsible for managing and deepening client relationships while driving revenue growth and delivering comprehensive financial planning solutions. This individual serves as a key connector between clients, support staff, and senior leadership.This role is ideal for an experienced financial advisor who thrives in relationship management, advanced planning discussions, and business development initiatives. The Lead Advisor oversees core client relationships, conducts review meetings, engages with firm-generated and self-generated leads, and contributes to referral and marketing efforts.Core ResponsibilitiesClient & Advisory Engagement• Lead and manage relationships with key firm clients, ensuring strong retention and long-term satisfaction• Conduct comprehensive review meetings and advanced planning discussions• Present and implement financial, investment, insurance, estate, and income planning strategies• Coordinate planning efforts with clients and outside professionals as needed• Serve as primary point of contact for client service matters when managing assigned relationships• Monitor client investments quarterly or semi-annually to ensure alignment with objectives• Identify risks, gaps, or opportunities within client households and proactively address them• Analyze financial data and planning scenarios to recommend optimal solutions• Translate complex planning strategies into clear, actionable guidanceBusiness Development• Conduct meetings with firm-generated and self-generated leads• Support referral-based marketing initiatives• Proactively request referrals during review and onboarding meetings• Assist with seminar presentations and marketing events• Develop and nurture Centers of Influence (COI) relationships• Contribute to firm growth initiatives and AUM expansionCompliance & Professional Standards• Ensure all client recommendations align with regulatory requirements• Support maintenance of a robust investment advisory compliance program• Exercise sound judgment when evaluating client situations and regulatory considerations• Maintain confidentiality and high ethical standardsPosition SpecificationsExperience & Education• Bachelor’s degree required• CFP® designation (or equivalent) required• Advanced designations such as CKA preferred• Series 7, 63, and 65 or 66 licenses required• Florida 215 (Life, Health & Variable Products) license required• 6–10 years of experience in a direct advisory capacity within financial services• Strong leadership experience preferred• Experience with securities, investments, financial planning, and insurance• Experience working with custodian platforms (Fidelity, Schwab, TD, etc.)Skills & Competencies• Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills• Advanced financial planning analysis and modeling capabilities• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite• CRM experience preferred• Knowledge of broker-dealer and investment advisory regulations• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines• High integrity and discretion when handling confidential information• Strong organizational and time management skills• Ability to perform in a fast-paced, evolving market environmentWork Environment & CultureThis is a full-time, on-site role based in Winter Garden, FL.
