Intermediate Designer
Job DescriptionThe Intermediate Designer will work closely with the Principal and Senior Designers to execute the aesthetic vision for projects. The candidate’s responsibilities shall include: researching and developing furniture plans; assisting Senior Designers on the design and development of projects; creating drawings and presentation boards; researching and sourcing FFE within budget and aesthetic direction; managing specifications and construction schedules; coordinating all vendor meetings and site visits; maintaining project files; collaborate with Project Manager to assist with expediting process; provide assistance for photoshoots; responsible for obtaining approval for Client Order and Vendor Purchase Order prior to submission to Client and Vendor; manage Client Order and Purchase Order data on a constant basis; manage project action items within Studio; and effectively work with Junior Designers and interns and assist with their training/mentoring; attend client meetings;Job Requirements4+ years of professional experience in high-end residential interior designDegree in Interior Design and/or Architecture from an accredited programProficiency in AutoCad, InDesign, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office required; Studio Webware knowledge a must, SketchUp skills are a plus; ability to hand drawStrong design and presentation skillsExcellent leadership skillsStrong communication skillsHigh attention to detail to ensure design intent and technical accuracySelf-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented professionalMust be a team player and comfortable working independently, excels in a fast-paced environment and adept at meeting deadlinesStrong organizational skillsUnderstanding of furniture, millwork, and cabinetry construction, detailing, and related shop drawing review processExperience selecting and specifying high-end residential custom furniture, fabrics, finishes, and decorative itemsExperience and skill at managing purchasing and budgetsDiscretion is a mustAbout Our CompanyBeth Webb Interiors is an internationally recognized design firm known for tactile, serene, and dynamic spaces.
