We are looking for a skilled Device & Process Integration (PI) Engineer, to join our team supporting SMFAB. This engineer will be an invaluable part of the team and in this role, you will drive the integration and development for existing and future analog & CMOS nodes, interfacing and communicating with ATD (Advanced Technology Development), Process engineering, Parametric Test engineering, Product development, Quality and Manufacturing groups across the organization. This position provides the opportunity to drive continual improvement at all levels.\nPrimary responsibilities will include: Utilize technical knowledge of semiconductor device physics to enable competitive technology through process and parametric improvements\nDrive process and device improvements through characterization, test, design of experiments, data analysis and simulation\nOwnership of technology parametric performance, parametric Cpk improvements\nParametric test dispositions including root cause determination for scrap or outliers, definition and evaluations of experiments to improve processes\nProduct flow creation/review\nShort flow and test chip development\nPartnering with the RET team to validate OPC and make improvements, as appropriate\nCross functional team leadership to support the transfer, development, qualification, and manufacturing of advanced analog and CMOS technologies.\nWork with multiple process, integration, product, quality, reliability, packaging and test engineers to achieve goals\nWork closely with the product groups to identify and optimize the process performance to meet critical final device parameters to enable game changing products in the market The person performing this role must be capable of planning effectively, driving schedules, meet critical deadlines on multiple tasks in parallel, lead technical discussions in their area of expertise, and work effectively across organizational boundaries. They must be able to clearly communicate project status and actions. Additionally, they must be able to interface with multiple organizations and work well on a diverse team to accomplish goals.\nQualifications Minimum requirements:\nMasters in EE, Chemical, Material Science Engineering or semiconductor specific: solid state physics, applied physics or quantum mechanics\n5 years of experience working in a semiconductor factory with specific experience in advanced CMOS semiconductor devices (90nm and below) and analog technologies\n5 years of experience in process integration and device\nPreferred qualifications:\nPh.D. in EE, Chemical, Material Science Engineering or semiconductor specific: solid state physics, applied physics or quantum mechanics\nDemonstrated experience and ability to plan effectively, drive schedules, meet critical deadlines on multiple tasks in parallel, lead technical discussions in their area of expertise, and work effectively across organizational boundaries\nDemonstrated technical and practical understanding of advanced CMOS/analog semiconductor device physics and integration\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment\nDemonstrated experience and ability to plan effectively, drive schedules, meet critical deadlines on multiple tasks in parallel, lead technical discussions in their area of expertise, and work effectively across organizational boundaries\nAbility to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders critical to success, both internally and externally\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\nAbility to quickly ramp on new systems and processes\nDemonstrated strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills\nAbility to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions\nAbility to take the initiative and drive for results\nStrong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery\nWhy TI?
