Webster M&CM produces high performance consumable parts for high end production printing presses on several unique, highly automated production lines. The controls engineer is a key player to ensure Xerox ability to deliver high quality parts to our customers. This role is ideal for someone who loves to collaborate to solve problems in multiple areas and thrives in a fast-paced environment.\n\nJob responsibilities include:\nProviding engineering support, potentially including off-shift\nCreating and maintaining controls documentation, equipment maintenance procedures, and automation programming.\nInteraction with industrial staff employees, quality personnel and process engineers.\nSystems integration with vendors providing equipment.\nTroubleshooting of electromechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and processes.\nUpgrades to the current equipment to enable run-cost targets and enable future products including controls related elements of productivity improvements.\nExperience with Class1/Div. 1&2 hazardous location requirements. This includes the need for ESD shoes and Respirator.\n\nThe well qualified candidate will have:\nExperience troubleshooting and maintaining mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems incorporated in multiple materials handling and process manufacturing lines.\nPLC, MMI, HMI and CNC Programming experience including but not limited to:\nAllen Bradley (PLC) 05/14-05/17 - Buffalo or 6/04-6/07 - Rochester (2 classes @ $4400\nControl Logix\nSLC500\nPanelview (HMI’s)\nFactory Talk Studio View (HMI’s)\nSchneider Electric (PLC) 04/30 - 05/02 and 05/07-05/09 - Rochester 2 classes @ $3780\nUnity platform\nModicon Premium\nMagelis MMI\nLexium drives\nTSX-PL7 legacy platform\nKollmorgen Drives\nFanuc CNC and Robotics\nIndex Lathes\nABB robotics\n\nExperience with the following software\nMicrosoft Windows\nIBM OS2 for legacy software\nAutocad\nRockwell RSLogix\nRockwell Factory Talk View\nSchneider PL7 Pro\nSchneider Vijeo\nSiemens 7\nEducation requirement:\nBachelor’s degree in electrical engineering preferred.
