Job Overview
Mixed Animal Veterinarian Wanted – Come Practice Good Medicine Without the Corporate Pressure
Looking for a veterinary job where you can actually practice medicine the way you were trained? We might be the place for you.
Our growing mixed animal clinic is located in a quiet country town just 45 minutes from Nashville and just down the road from the beautiful Henry Horton State Park—perfect for fishing, hiking, kayaking, or just decompressing after a long week.
We’re mostly small animal (about 80%), but if you enjoy large animal work there’s plenty of opportunity to do some of that too. If not, that’s totally fine as well.
Why our vets love it here:
No pressure to push products or meet sales quotas
Practice medicine your way
4-day work week (because life outside the clinic matters)
Alternating Saturday mornings only (8–12)
Supportive, laid-back clients who genuinely appreciate us (and often bring snacks!)
Optional large animal work if you want it
Relocation help available for out-of-state applicants
Compensation is negotiable
We’re a small, humble clinic that truly cares about our community and their animals. Our town is tight-knit, our clients are loyal, and our team is passionate about helping people and pets.
We’re still growing and would love to find a veterinarian—new grad or experienced—who wants to grow with us.
If you’re looking for:
✔ Less corporate pressure
✔ Supportive clients
✔ A relaxed but passionate team
✔ A place where you can build real relationships
…then you might fit right in.
Come practice good medicine and build a life you enjoy.
