Performance based pay increase plan! Learn more = earn more!\r\nJob Description Summary:\r\nThis position is responsible for operating the extrusion lines independently and efficiently. Assist shift supervisor in operating all production areas. Performs tasks in compliance with Work Instructions to ensure quality and productivity standards are met.\r\nEssential Functions:\r\nEffectively start up, shutdown, and changeover both extrusion lines.\r\nEnsure extrusion lines operate at peak efficiency.\r\nTroubleshoot manufacturing processes and recommend improvements.\r\nEnsure plastic sheets and rolls meet or exceed customer and MDI standards.\r\nEnsure all team members are adequately trained.\r\nEnsure all employees times are properly assigned to production manufacturing orders.\r\nWorks independently, efficiently manages time, and uses experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.\r\nEmploy effective, respectful and persuasive spoken and written communication skills.\r\nEnsure compliance with work instructions and/or Quality Management System (QMS) procedures.\r\nEnsure adherence to all current company policies.\r\nEnsure effective employee relations.\r\nTroubleshoot equipment, techniques, and processes.\r\nMaintain a safe work environment for yourself and others including wearing mandatory Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).\r\nFunctions effectively in a fast paced, diverse, team environment.\r\nAssist with department cleanliness and housekeeping.\r\nOther duties as assigned.\r\nQualifications:\r\n1 year or more related experience.\r\nAble to effectively perform all basic mathematical functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.)\r\nAbility to effectively read, interpret and communicate industry and customer specific documentation.\r\nSatisfactory completion of a criminal background check.\r\nVerified eligibility for employment in the United States.\r\nEnvironment and Physical Demands:\r\n8 or 10 hour shifts, Monday through Friday or Sunday through Thursday; work during non-traditional hours (weekends and evenings) required.\r\nContinuously works in a typical factory environment (high noise levels, machinery, conveyors, dust, chemicals, and temperature fluctuations.)\r\nOccasionally works in a typical office setting which includes; Continuously sit, use of computer monitor, mouse, and keyboard, standard telephone, hearing and talking.\r\nContinuously walk, and stand.\r\nOccasionally drive fork lift.\r\nOccasionally stoop, sit, kneel, crouch, climb, talk, hear, max lift of 50 lbs.\r\nOther:\r\nNone\r\nSupervisory Responsibilities:\r\nNone\r\nThe list of essential job functions and qualifications contained in this job description is not exhaustive and may be supplemented as necessary.
