Country Manager
POSITION SUMMARYThe PM is responsible for managing the work scope, schedule and budget of all assigned projects. The PM prepares and manages assigned projects in accordance with approved Company Directives, department procedures and approved Project Execution Plans. The PM is responsible for coordinating support requirements with the HQ functional staffs. The PM is directly responsible for executing assigned projects within the projected scope, budget and schedule. The PM conducts scheduled (usually monthly) briefings on Program/Project status/progress explaining any cost or schedule variances that of costs scheduled or projected. The PM is responsible for updating and maintaining all associated records involved with the program/project. The PM is also responsible for the oversight of any sub-contractors assigned or employed on the Program/Project.RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for providing leadership and programmatic (operational and financial) oversight to assigned contracts and/or subcontracted activities.Responsible for developing, coordinating and executing plans for assigned projectsInstrumental in the development of scope, cost and schedule Ensures compliance with corporate policies and Code of Business Ethics on all assigned projectsLead the organization in the development of cost effective and innovative customer solutionsManage proposal efforts in the role of a Capture ManagerManage business activities IAW an approved Project PlanManage multiple overhead and project-specific schedule and budgets Ensure projects are within specification, measured against cost, schedule and performancePrepare and conduct scheduled Program/Project status briefingsMaintain positive communications with customers, subcontractors and develop customer relations strategiesDevelop organizational depth through subordinate leader mentoring, performance management, professional development and succession planningResponsible for supporting applicable PSC.1 requirements and the Security Operations Management SystemOther duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONSMust have 10 years of general experience in program support and 4 years specialized experience in International support contracting, specifically in the Middle East.Must have a strong training in program/project management backgroundStrong written and verbal communication skills; ability to lead in-house and multi-company teams across multiple functional areasStrong financial background with understanding of Firm Fixed Price vs T&M contracts, revenue, expense, indirect, labor and contribution marginIdeal candidate is an energetic, results-oriented performer with high growth potentialDemonstrated record of excellence, leading geographically separated project teams/ units in the Government services and commercial sectorDecisive; able to make critical business decisions often with incomplete information and within a compressed timelineAbility to obtain a Secret security clearanceBachelor's degree-preferably in a business-related fieldAbility to travel internationally; willingness to conduct site visits to austere and potentially hostile locationsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficient with Microsoft Office SuiteMust be able to lift, lower, carry, push or move objects up to 25 lbs.
