This is a Full-Time, Hybrid role that requires a hands-on approach to all phases of litigation—from initial case assessment and strategy development to motion practice, court appearances, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation. This is a client-facing role that demands strong advocacy skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities with professionalism and efficiency.\nKey Responsibilities: Independently manage a high-volume caseload of complex litigation matters across all phases, including pleadings, discovery, pre-trial, trial, and appeal\nServe as counsel in hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials\nEvaluate legal exposure and develop strategic, risk-based litigation plans in alignment with client objectives and firm leadership\nDraft and argue substantive motions, including motions to dismiss and motions for summary judgment\nConduct thorough legal research and draft pleadings, memoranda, discovery responses, and motion reviews\nOversee all aspects of written and oral discovery, including managing depositions, expert discovery, subpoenas, and resolving discovery disputes\nPrepare clients and witnesses for depositions, mediations, and trial testimony\nProvide clear, strategic legal counsel to clients regarding case status, exposure, and litigation options\nRespond promptly and professionally to client and investor escalations and inquiries\nConduct legal analysis and provide recommendations across a broad range of issues\nTrack deadlines and maintain accurate documentation in the firm’s case management and calendaring systems\nQualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.\nCurrent License and in good standing with the State Bar of Florida\nMinimum 1+ years of prior litigation experience (preferably in foreclosure, creditors' rights, or RE)\nStrong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.\nExcellent organizational and time management abilities.\nAbility to handle a high-volume caseload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\nExposure managing contested foreclosure matters and related litigation preferred\nGhidotti | Berger LLP is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
