Working alongside the sales team, this role will take an innovative, hands-on approach to CNC manufacturing, while designing, owning, and implementing custom manufacturing solutions for our customers. This role will have direct responsibility for developing solutions, training, and supporting our team and our customers' technical needs in the CNC arena. With a strong emphasis on automated solutions, robotics, and training, you will define and build the organizational support needed to grow new and existing revenue streams.\r\nWhat You Will Contribute\r\nPart programming of CNC machine tools, process development, and customer training.\r\nConducting pre-sale activities and reviews including customer visits, evaluation of opportunities, machine assessment and recommendations, and part processing recommendations.\r\nDrafting accurate cost estimates, writing engineering reports, and interpreting plans and specifications.\r\nProgramming and setting up CNC lathes, CNC vertical or horizontal mills with automation and robotics.\r\nDeveloping/implementing customer demonstrations and training users in the safe set up and operation of CNC machining centers, lathes and robots.\r\nPossessing and maintaining an in-depth technical knowledge of product lines represented by the company.\r\nOther Functions\r\nPerform related duties as required.\r\nThe duties listed above are intended only as illustration of the various types of work that may be performed.
