This position operates a CDL-A semi-truck with an end dump trailer and is responsible for safely hauling and unloading material while maintaining compliance with DOT, OSHA, and company safety standards.Drivers can expect consistent local/regional routes with 34 loads per day, operating 5 days per week.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesSafely operate a Class A CDL tractor-trailer with end dump trailer configurationTransport biosolids from wastewater treatment facilities to approved landfill sites throughout Alabama and MississippiComplete 34 loads per day while maintaining safe and efficient operationsPerform pre-trip, post-trip, and daily vehicle inspectionsProperly secure, transport, and unload materials in accordance with company and environmental regulationsMaintain accurate driver logs, mileage records, inspection reports, and load documentationFollow all DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and company safety proceduresCommunicate effectively with dispatch, plant personnel, landfill operators, and managementReport equipment issues, accidents, incidents, or delays immediatelyMaintain cleanliness and general upkeep of assigned equipmentOperate safely in varying weather and road conditionsQualificationsValid Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL-A) requiredMinimum of 12 years of CDL-A driving experience preferredEnd dump trailer experience preferredClean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and ability to meet DOT requirementsAbility to operate manual transmissions preferredStrong understanding of DOT regulations and safe driving practicesAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionReliable attendance and strong work ethic requiredPhysical RequirementsAbility to sit and drive for extended periods of timeAbility to climb in and out of truck cab and trailer safelyAbility to lift, pull, and move up to 50 pounds occasionallyAbility to work outdoors in various weather conditionsMust be able to pass DOT physical and drug screeningSchedule & Work EnvironmentFull-time position5 days per weekAverage of 34 loads dailyLocal and regional routes throughout Alabama and MississippiHome daily or frequent home time depending on route assignmentsWhat we offer:Mission-driven work in a rapidly growing sustainability companyOpportunities for professional growth and learningCollaborative, values-driven team cultureCompetitive salary and benefitsWhy Youll Love Working at Denali- Benefits & PerksAt Denali, the work we do begins and ends with you our employees.
