When acting in the capacity of a dealer, primary responsibilities are the accurate, professional, and proficient dealing of assigned games in accordance with policy, procedures, rules, and internal controls and in compliance with applicable gaming regulations. Assumes Floor Supervisor responsibilities in the absence of the primary Floor supervisor due to scheduled days off, paid time off, illness, position vacancy, or emergency circumstances. At no time will a Dual Rate Dealer/Floor Supervisor serve concurrently in the capacity of Dealer and Supervisor./ppDealer Primary Duties and Responsibilities: (Specific areas of responsibilities, include but not limited to.)/pulliResponsible for the protection and control of assigned games and assets./liliConducts the games in accordance with the companys policies and procedures, handling player transactions and notifying Supervisor of any irregularities./liliAdvises Supervisor or Management of Table Games of any player disputes or procedural errors that may arise during the game./liliInforms Supervisor or other supervisory personnel of any important or relevant facts regarding specific players and their action./liliMaintains a professional, friendly, and courteous atmosphere providing the customer with a pleasant gaming experience, and notifying Supervisor of any customer needs i.e., cocktails, host service, etc./liliPromotes departmental and property wide promotions./liliKnowledge of local, state, and federal gaming laws, rules, and regulations as well as the Companys internal controls, policies, and procedures./liliResponsible for adhering to the casino attendance policy./liliPerforms other duties as assigned./li/ulpFloor Supervisor Primary Duties and Responsibilities:/pulliEnforces performance standards, policies and procedures relating to Table Games, ensuring compliance with the gaming regulations./liliResponsible for checking bankroll from previous shift to ensure accuracy, assists Supervisor/Dealer in physical count of bankroll at shift change./liliObserves game, players, and dealers, to ensure accuracy of game and ensures games played, and ensures game protection./liliEnsures that all games move at an appropriate pace./liliPromotes positive customers relations providing a delightful gaming experience by, answering questions, resolving disputes, calling beverage servers, comping etc./liliAssists in coaching and monitoring of subordinate employees in a fair and equitable manner./liliResponsible for tracking players, noting buy-ins, length of play, win/loss, and average bet./liliKnowledge of local jurisdiction gaming laws (federal, state, etc.) as well as the Companys internal controls, policies, and procedures./liliMust be familiar with pit accounting procedures and administrative tasks, i.e., fills, credits, marker transactions, and other documented responsibilities./liliResponsible for maintaining a consistent and regular attendance record./liliSupervises dealers on assigned shift./liliCarries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include coaching employees; planning assigning and directing work; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems./liliPerforms other duties as assigned./li/ulpEssential functions of the position:/pulliMust be able to manage or feel objects, reach, pull, bend, or twist./liliMust be able to read, write, and effectively communicate with all guests and team members in a positive and professional manner./liliSpecific vision abilities required include close vision, distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus./liliMust be able to tolerate high noise levels in the work environment, with flashing lights./liliMust be able to stand, walk, and maintain the appropriate posture while dealing./liliMust be able to interact with excellent customer service skills./liliMust be able to work in a smoking environment./liliMust be able to travel to all associated properties./li/ulpKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:/pulliStrong organizational and communication skills required./liliAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence./liliAbility to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization./liliAbility to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations./liliAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables./liliAbility to maintain a high-level of confidentiality and professionalism./liliAbility to utilize and operate personal computers, other equipment or devices related to the position./liliExperience working in a high-pressure/fast paced environment./li/ulpMinimum Qualifications:/pulliSuccessful completion of Casino del Sols Blackjack Dealer School and/or successful completion of dealer audition. Proven knowledge, training, and/or experience on the assigned games required including but not limited to Roulette and/or Craps. Basic knowledge of all current house procedures required./liliMust attend Dual Rate Supervisor training within six (6) months of start date./liliIf dealer possesses knowledge, training and/or experience of Craps but not Roulette they must attend Roulette school and pass an audition within eight (8) weeks of start date./liliIf dealer possesses knowledge, training and/or experience of Roulette but not Craps they must attend Craps school and pass an audition within five (5) months of start date./liliMust be able to work any shift, weekends, holidays, and special events, as needed./liliMust be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screening in accordance with company policy./liliMust have employment eligibility in the U.S./liliMust be able to obtain and retain a valid gaming license./li/ulpPreferred Requirements:/pulliHigh School Diploma or GED./li/ul/div
