As we continue to build our workforce, we look for people that exemplify our core values, leadership characteristics, and approach to innovation.\n\nTMPC is seeking a Full Stack Developer to work with a team of diverse architects and engineers with backgrounds in PaaS, DevOps, Security, and IaaS operations in order to spread knowledge and practices in support of cloud and platform services environments.\n\nEducation/Experience:\nBachelor’s Degree in a STEM field.\nFluent in CSS (Foundation or Bootstrap), JavaScript and HTML, with an understanding of CSS preprocessors including Sass and LESS.\nStrong knowledge of Linux, PHP and MySQL, with working understanding of MongoDB, PostgreSQL, AngularJS, Express.js, Oracle, React, Ember and Node.js.\nExperience with JS-based tools including Bower, Grunt and Gulp.\nExperience in working with languages such as Java, .Net, Python, PHP or Ruby.\nExperience with server technologies including Apache, IIS, Node.js, Nginx and J2EE.\nExperience in API/RESTful service design and development.\nUnderstanding of libraries including Backbone.js and jQuery.\nExperience with AJAX.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail and a head for problem solving.\nSkilled at working in tandem with a team, or unsupervised as required.\nThorough understanding of AWS IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services.\nExperienced in using Docker compose to create container images\nFluent in Gitops\n\nDuties/Responsibilities:\nDevelop visually appealing front end website architecture, including translating designer mock-ups and wireframes into front-end code.\nDesign user interactions on web pages.\nDevelop functional databases, applications, and servers to support websites on the back end.\nEnsure cross-platform optimization for mobile.\nDevelop and design RESTful services and APIs.\nStay abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.\nStrategize organizational direction on emerging technology platforms and communicate the effectiveness to executive stakeholders.\nStay current and provide insight on cutting edge software approaches, architectures, and vendors.\nEnsure that non-functional requirements such as security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability are being considered when architecting solutions.\nKeep job knowledge up to date by studying new development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal and professional networks; participating in professional organizations.\n\nPreferred qualifications include:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science\nExperience working with identity and access management technologies and solutions\nExperience with Agile development methodologies; using collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.\nExperience with monitoring and logging solutions, specifically Splunk\nAny of the following: AWS Certified SysOps Administrator Associate, AWS Certified Developer Associate, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or any Professional level of the above-mentioned certs where applicable\n3+ years’ experience working with Gitlab\n\nSalary Range: DOE\n\nTMPC, Inc. is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
