Able to run intricate parts. Has experience working with a variety of materials (i.e., aluminum, steel, stainless steel, bronze, high-temp alloys, plastics, etc)Toolpath Optimization: Utilize Mastercam Unified Toolpaths (Morph, Parallel, Spiral) to maximize material removal rates and extend tool life.Simulation: Use Mastercam Machine Simulation to virtually test and verify G-code against machine kinematics, eliminating collision risks.WCS Management: Establish accurate Work Coordinate Systems (WCS) and dynamic work offsets (G54.2 / TCPC) for complex geometry.Collaboration: Work alongside engineering and floor machinists to troubleshoot machining issues and improve cycle times.Qualifications & ExperienceExperience: 3–5+ years of dedicated 5-axis CNC programming and setup experience in a high-tolerance environment.Software Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Mastercam (Mill 3D and Multi-axis modules).Machinery: Hands-on experience setting up and operating multi-axis machines.Technical Skills: Expert blueprint reading, GD&T fluency, and precision inspection tool competence.Quality Standards: Prior experience working under AS9100 quality management systems is highly preferred.Citizen Requirements: Due to our defense contracts, candidates must be US Citizens or Permanent Residents (ITAR compliant)Company DescriptionNytron Aerospace is your trusted partner in providing concept-to-production solutions for the space and defense industry.
