With such a variety of work, you’ll stay engaged and be continually challenged.\nResponsibilities Assist Project Manager with the development and preparation of plans, specifications, technical reports, and estimates.\nAssist Project Managers in design and construction of structural systems of reinforced concrete, wood, masonry, structural steel, steel joists, and light gauge steel.\nAssist Project Managers in performing structural design of water and wastewater treatment facilities, including water‑tight structures.\nAssist design engineers in performing structural design of commercial, industrial and residential structures.\nPerform construction observation and administration on projects.\nPerform design drafting to prepare project drawings and details.\nBasic Requirements Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (with a structural emphasis) or related field\nSuccessfully completed the Fundamentals in Engineering, or ability to complete within 6 months\nWorking knowledge and experience using Revit, AutoCAD, and computer aided design software\nStrong written and oral communication skills, attention to detail, and curiosity\nAbility to travel as required\nAll applicants must be able to complete pre‑employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.\nPreferred Qualifications Proficient in Revit\nIntern or employment experience related to structural design, building construction, or project management\nPhysical Qualifications Ability to walk up to 3-miles on uneven terrain\nAbility to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time\nOccasionally climb, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist\nOccasionally lift, carry, push, and pull light to moderate amounts of weight\nMay require lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds, with rare lifting of up to 50 pounds\nAbility to inspect equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.\nMay be required to wear Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) including but not limited to, flame resistant clothing, hard hat, and protective footwear\nMay require occasional evenings and weekends with overtime expectations varying with workload\nMay be required to travel to off‑site locations including occasional overnight stays out of town\nElevate Your Career with AE2S – Award‑Winning Culture and Unmatched Benefits Advanced Engineering and Environmental Services (AE2S) is an award‑winning, specialized civil/environmental consulting engineering firm that provides professional services and a unique brand of extreme client service.
