If you’re passionate about mechanical design, troubleshooting, and streamlining operations, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.\n\nWhat You’ll Do:\n\nLead the full process lifecycle from project review, CAD design, and CAM programming to work traveler creation.\nEvaluate and enhance part designs to ensure manufacturability and adherence to customer specifications.\nReview customer drawings meticulously, focusing on requirements, tolerances, and notes.\nDevelop tooling, gauges, and fixtures to support cost-effective manufacturing solutions.\nProvide technical support for design approvals, production issues, and process improvements.\nCollaborate across departments—including Estimating, Sales, and Quality—to ensure seamless operations and quality compliance.\nAct as a liaison between departments and customers, maintaining clear communication and project clarity.\n\nRequired Skills & Qualifications:\n\nStrong background in mechanical engineering design, with a keen eye for detail.\nProficiency in CAD/CAM software such as SolidWorks, Mastercam, and Metamation.\nKnowledge of manufacturing processes including laser cutting, stamping, machining, welding, and fabrication.\nDeep understanding of GD&T principles and tolerances.\nExcellent mechanical reasoning, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.\nEffective team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.\nAbility to manage multiple projects efficiently under tight deadlines.\nProficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).\nWilling to train candidates holding a Mechanical Engineering degree.\nMust be a U.S. Person as defined under ITAR/EAR regulations.\n\nNice to Have:\n\nExperience in designing fixtures, layouts, or manufacturing dies.\nCross-training knowledge across multiple programming and manufacturing techniques.\nFamiliarity with Job Boss, Unipoint, or Monday project management platforms.\n\nPreferred Education & Experience:\n\nDegree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.\nPrior experience in a high-precision manufacturing environment is a plus; however, we welcome enthusiastic candidates with a strong mechanical aptitude willing to learn.\n\nAdditional Requirements:\n\nAbility to lift up to 50 pounds, stand or sit for extended periods, and perform physical tasks requiring reaching, bending, and twisting.\nMust have manual dexterity for precision work and excellent visual acuity for detail orientation.\nThis role is strictly in-person, requiring daily presence at our Naperville facility, with overtime and weekend hours as needed.\n\nReady to advance your engineering career and contribute to cutting-edge manufacturing solutions?
