Injection Mold Operator
Job Title: Injection Mold Technician Position Category: Production Reports to: Injection Mold Supervisor FSLA Status: Non-Exempt (Hourly) SUMMARYThe Injection Mold Technician is responsible for all aspects of the mold processes to include operation, repair, and maintenance of injection mold equipment. RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for documenting mold change and machine adjustments including troubleshooting and equipment maintenance Provide effective technical decisions and communicates them to Management Work with production personnel to ensure molded components meet requirements and make adjustments as needed Provide molded components in a timely manner to meet production schedules Manage raw mold material to ensure traceability, shelf life, and prevent contamination Generate documentation on mold runs for traceability and reproducibility Work with Quality and manufacturing departments to ensure the quality of production and products produced meet company standards Maintain weekly inventory Ensure safe working practices are followed Follow established procedures to maintain a clean and organized environment Adhere to all company policies, procedures and guidelines Attend all required employee meetings and trainings as scheduled by direct supervisor, management or administration Maintain individual skills and keep up to date with latest production and production required concepts Other duties as assigned by management RECOMMENDED SKILLSMinimum of 2-3+ years' experience in injection molding Self-motivated and Safety conscious Strong accuracy and attention to detail Strong oral and written communication skills Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills Ability to work well under pressure and within tight time-lines WORK ENVIRONMENTRequired to stand and walk frequently. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. and is required to have keen vision abilities Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. Environment maintains an increased noise level. Requirements REQUIRED SKILLSHigh School Diploma, GED, or formal vocational training Minimum of 1-3+ years' experience in manufacturing environment Mechanical knowledge
