Mental Health Therapist

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Therapist to join our team in Tyrone, GA. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate care and support to children, adults, and families in need of mental health services. This is an independent contractor position with flexible scheduling options. Hourly rates are determined by several factors including experience, caseload, and self-pay or insurance reimbursement contracts. Responsibilities - Conduct in-depth assessments to diagnose mental health conditions - Develop and implement personalized treatment plans - Provide therapy sessions to individuals or groups - Maintain accurate and confidential patient medical records - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care - Stay updated on the latest clinical research and treatment modalities - Offer crisis intervention and support for patients in acute distress Experience -Experience in providing inpatient mental health services -Proficiency in patient care techniques and medical record documentation -Knowledge of psychopharmacology and its applications in therapy -Experience working with children, adults, and/or families Requirements -Must have an APC or LPC/LCSW or equivalent license in Georgia and provide 3 professional references Why choose us? -We are a growing private practice with a therapist-centric management model, with high talent retention rates and a reputation for excellent service.
