Facilities Maintenance Technician
Description We are seeking a reliable and motivated Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the safe, efficient operation of our facilities across Northwest Arkansas. In this hands-on, entry-level role, you will perform general maintenance tasks such as painting, minor plumbing, appliance repair, and routine upkeep while ensuring our buildings remain functional, safe, and welcoming. You will communicate regularly with leadership, coordinate with contractors, and provide flexible support, including occasional after-hours or weekend work, to meet operational needs. At our organization, every role contributes to a greater purpose-helping patients and families navigate the complexities of a cancer diagnosis with compassion and care. As part of a safety-focused environment, you will play a critical role in maintaining spaces where patients receive life-changing treatment, requiring attention to detail, physical capability (including lifting 25-50 pounds and performing tasks like climbing and crawling), and a commitment to continuous learning. Technical training is a plus, but a strong work ethic, teamwork, and dedication to supporting our mission are what matter most. Highlands Oncology began in 1996 with three physicians and a desire to change the face of oncology care in our community. Dr. Malcolm Hayward, Dr. Dan Bradford, and Dr. Thad Beck knew that patients do better at home, in the community where they live and work, and where their support system is already in place. In furthering that goal, Highlands has grown with the region from a single location 26 years ago, to 6 locations in Northwest and Northcentral Arkansas today employing more than 850 diverse team members. As Northwest Arkansas continues to grow, so must the services and providers available in the region. Highlands Oncology is committed to remaining on the cutting edge to ensure our community has access to the very best cancer care. What we have is something quite unique right here in our own backyard with a caring multidisciplinary team focused on treating patients like family.
