In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a wide range of security systems, including electronic access controls, CCTV surveillance, electronic door hardware, and low-voltage wiring. This role also includes traditional Locksmithing skills, such as but not limited to, creating and maintaining Master key systems, rekeying, door hardware repairs and troubleshooting, fresh installation of hardware and more. Your expertise will ensure the safety and security of our clients’ facilities through precise system design, installation, and service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in diverse environments, utilizing your mechanical knowledge, critical thinking skills, electrical experience, and field service skills to deliver top-tier security solutions.\nResponsibilities Include:\nInstall, configure, and service electronic access control systems, including card readers, biometric scanners, keypad locks and remote access software.\nConduct system diagnostics and troubleshooting for security systems such as CCTV cameras, sensors, and tying into third party systems/intergrations.\nPerform wiring and cabling of low-voltage systems in accordance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and schematics.\nTroubleshooting of existing access control systems or CCTV\nTraditional Locksmithing, such as repairs to existing hardware or fresh installation of door hardware and keying systems\nDoor/Frame repairs or replacement **If able**\nUse hand tools and power tools to modify or repair locks, hardware, and security components on-site.\nMaintenance of company provided machines and tools\nCollaborate with clients to design tailored security solutions based on site-specific needs and system schematics.\nMaintain detailed documentation of system configurations, service reports, and installation procedures.\nProvide field service support for security system upgrades or repairs in construction or existing facilities.\nQualifications\nProven experience as a locksmith or access control technician with a strong background in locksmithing and security system installation.\nMechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience related to low-voltage wiring, cabling, and power tools operation.\nFamiliarity working with contract facility maintenance teams (using IVR check in/out systems)\nFamiliarity with computer networking concepts essential for configuring networked security devices and remote access software.\nKnowledge of CCTV surveillance systems, sensors, electronic hardware wiring and schematics\nAbility to read schematics, technical drawings, and system design documents accurately.\nExperience working as a service technician in diverse environments such as construction sites or commercial facilities.\nStrong understanding of NEC standards related to electrical wiring and low-voltage systems.\nExcellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex security issues efficiently.\nEffective communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.\nMust Haves:\nMust have a clear and valid driver’s license.\nMechanically minded and IT-savvy with.\nAbility to communicate at a high level with customers and management.\nAbility to convey services in writing for both service calls and estimates into report form for invoicing.\nGreat work ethic.\nDesire to continually expand knowledge base in the field.\n2 years prior Security Solutions and/or Locksmith experience preferred.\nPhysical Requirements:\nMust be able to fluently understand, speak and write English.\nAbility to push, pull and lift at least 50lbs.\nAbility to kneel, crouch and stoop.\nAbility to reach above and below the shoulders.\nAbility to use hands and fingers to grasp, twist, and pull.\nAbility to climb a ladder and work above ground.\nWithstand external weather conditions year-round.\nBenefits:\nGrowing Industry\nCareer Advancement Opportunities\nFlexibility\nPaid Training\nCompany Vehicle\nUniforms Provided\nTools Provided\nCompetitive Wages\nJoin us to be part of a passionate team dedicated to safeguarding assets through innovative security solutions!
