{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"2eec00e66c1ef90b483bbafc","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/2eec00e66c1ef90b483bbafc","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/2eec00e66c1ef90b483bbafc","title":"Lean Engineer","description":"Position Summary:\nThe Lean Manufacturing Engineer will support the division’s Continuous Improvement Manager in the achievement of the division’s financial and operational objectives.\nEssential Job Duties and Responsibilities\nLean / Continuous Improvement.\nWork with leadership to identify key projects that will provide the most benefit to the company.\nLead continuous improvement projects from concept to completion.\nReport progress of projects to Continuous Improvement Manager and ensure progress towards goal of cost savings is achieved.\nSupport innovation and cost reduction programs in place.\nProvide training for plant personnel on lean concepts as needed.\nAssist team members in identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing change.\nLead Kaizen teams in multiple day, rapid improvement events monthly.\nDevelopment and implementation of the required Mafact (WCM) standards.\nCreate and manage lists with project descriptions, issues, and potential solutions with timelines.\nWork on product flow, helping to increase productivity.\nWork on improving production processes in each department.\nRequired Skills/Experience\nAssociates degree or equivalent combination of work and education.\nMinimum of 3 years of Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement experience with record of results.\nExtensive experience with lean manufacturing concepts (Standardized work, A3, Kaizen, 5S, TPM, VSM, SMED, Kanban, etc.).\nPossess project management skills.\nCertification in Six Sigma and/or Red X is preferred.\nAbility to train others in how to effectively use problem solving tools.\nExcellent organizational and interpersonal skills with ability to interact effectively with all employee levels in a positive, cooperative, and productive manner.\nStrong team leadership skills with demonstrated ability to facilitate meetings.\nStrong sense of time management with ability to manage high workload and meet deadlines.\nIndependent, targeted and structured way of working.\nProficiency in Excel, Power Point, Word, Microsoft Teams, etc.\nExperience with AutoCAD\nJob Type: Full-time\nPay: $70,000.00 -
