Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.\nSUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITY:\nThe Reimbursement Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of assigned regional billing center staff in achieving accounts receivable financial goals. This position will ensure the delivery of quality service and results through training, adherence to company best practices, and development of staff on a continual basis. This position strives to fulfill the mission of Numotion, Inc. at all times while at work.\nEssential Functions:\nOversees day to day schedule, assignment of work, direction and development of staff in achieving financial results as a primary function.\nDirectly manages 8-12 staff.\nTrains regional billing center staff to meet performance expectations.\nMaintains staff attendance functions; oversees time cards and time off requests.\nIndependently makes decisions on the majority of write-offs and adjustments, with authority to approve up to $500 per claim.\nEvaluates staff performance; 90-day and annual reviews.\nPerforms staff discipline as needed.\nProvides final recommendations on hiring to the Reimbursement Manager; solicits final approval.\nNotifies Reimbursement Manager of account receivable challenges and payer trends.\nResponds to and resolves incoming phone calls and emails from internal and external customers.\nEnsure all billing and collections practices follow company best practices, as well as state and federal regulations.\nOther Functions:\nAssists in BCC workloads for the department during staff absences.\nOversees assembly and analysis of files for audits.\nAttend payer seminars and educational events\nParticipates in a leadership role in staff meetings.\nReviews industry literature and communicates pertinent information to direct reports.\nMentors Billing & Collections Coordinators, and identifies those that are promotable.\nPerform related duties as required.\n\nRequired Skills\n\nQUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:\nHigh School diploma/GED required; Associates degree preferred.\nMinimum three years of related experience required, with a minimum of two years successful experience as a Billing & Collections Coordinator II.\nOne year of supervisory experience preferred.\nAble to effectively delegate work assignments fairly and appropriately.\nCollaborates effectively with other management teams, as well as other groups and teams throughout the organization.\nAble to accept accountability and demonstrates a willingness to seek solutions rather than find fault with others.\nConducts self appropriately in different professional settings.\nDemonstrates advanced skills and knowledge to perform job successfully.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.\nAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with individuals and groups, both professional and non-professional, co-workers, management personnel, the public and others.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple priorities.\nAble to think quickly, assess a situation and make a sound decision.\nSolid written and verbal communication, listening, organization and priority setting skills.\nListens well and retains instructions; accepts constructive feedback from supervisor.\nA track record of being consistent with attendance and prompt arrival at work and meetings.\nUnderstands and is aware of budgets and/or financial goals.\nPlans and organizes effectively to achieve productivity goals.\nAble to use technology to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.\nAbility to perform job with integrity and values consistent with the Numotion Mission.\n\nAt Numotion, we are committed to meeting the needs of those we serve, and our employees.
