This hands‑on position is responsible for driving a strong culture of health, safety, and environmental excellence across production operations while ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.\n\nApproximately 70% of this role is spent on the manufacturing floor, partnering directly with production teams to identify hazards, implement safe work practices, conduct inspections, and promote continuous improvement initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for an HSE professional with a strong industrial safety background and experience in manufacturing or heavy industrial environments.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nHealth, Safety & Environmental Leadership\n\nPromote and maintain a proactive culture of health, safety, and environmental compliance.\n\nProvide HSE support across all production areas and warehouse operations.\n\nConduct routine shop floor inspections, safety observations, audits, and compliance assessments.\n\nApply and reinforce Stop Work Authority when unsafe conditions exist.\n\nCoach and empower employees to actively participate in workplace safety initiatives.\n\nCompliance & Risk Management\n\nEnsure compliance with applicable OSHA regulations, environmental requirements, permits, and company policies.\n\nConduct hazard assessments, risk evaluations, and Job Safety Analyses (JSAs).\n\nReview, update, and deploy Safe Work Procedures.\n\nTrack corrective actions and compliance tasks through the HSE Management System (MST).\n\nTraining & Employee Engagement\n\nDeliver HSE orientation and ongoing safety training for employees.\n\nParticipate in daily Shift Starter and Tier 1 production meetings.\n\nBuild strong partnerships with production teams to improve overall safety performance.\n\nCommunicate HSE expectations clearly across all levels of the organization.\n\nConduct and support incident investigations and root cause analyses.\n\nDevelop corrective and preventive actions focused on continuous improvement.\n\nMonitor HSE performance metrics and recommend process improvements.\n\nSupport ISO-based management systems and continuous safety initiatives.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\n5+ years of Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) experience with a strong emphasis on industrial safety.\n\nIn-depth knowledge of HSE regulations, OSHA requirements, and industry best practices.\n\nExperience supporting manufacturing, industrial, or production environments.\n\nProven ability to build positive working relationships with production teams and leadership.\n\nExperience conducting incident investigations and implementing corrective actions.\n\nStrong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.\n\nAbility to spend significant time on the manufacturing floor.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nBachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.\n\nOSHA 30-Hour Certification (completed or in progress).\n\nExperience in manufacturing, mechanical construction, welding, or heavy industrial environments.\n\nFamiliarity with ISO 45001 Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems.\n\nDemonstrated ability to engage employees at all organizational levels and promote a strong safety culture.\n\nTop Required Skills\n\nHealth & Safety (HSE)\n\nOSHA Compliance\n\nSafety Audits\n\nJob Safety Analysis (JSA)\n\nManufacturing Safety\n\nRegulatory Compliance\n\nSafety Training\n\nInterview Process\n\nSite-based interview.\n\nCandidates should be prepared to discuss previous industrial safety experience, incident investigations, OSHA compliance, and examples of improving safety culture within manufacturing or industrial operations.\n\nAbout BEPC\nBEPC Inc., founded in 2007, is a 100% employee‑owned company providing top‑tier consulting and staffing solutions across industries including technology, engineering, manufacturing, and project management.
