Your efforts will include expanding collaboration platforms, installing and configuring complex software, managing servers and networks, monitoring system performance, and troubleshooting issues to keep operations running smoothly.\nPosition Responsibilities\nDeploy and manage applications across distributed environments.\nInstall, configure, and optimize complex software solutions.\nAdminister servers, networks, and technology tools to ensure reliability\nMonitor and maintain systems to meet stringent security and performance standards\nTroubleshoot and resolve outages, ensuring mission continuity\nExperience\nBachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) is required or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nMinimum 5 years of work experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.\nExpertise with: Linux administration, AWS, MASH, and VMs for cloud and virtualization, Networking, Firewalls, and Load Balancers, Terraform scripting and VM provisioning, Deployments of distributed web applications, Docker, Docker Compose, and Docker Swarm container technologies, Public Key Infrastructure for secure authentication, and Git for version control and collaboration.\nAn active TS/SCI with polygraph\nOther Qualifications & Desired Competencies:\neVo, CoDE, and UWE environments\nAPI Gateways for secure and scalable integrations\nAnsible scripting and development for automation and configuration management\nElasticsearch / Logstash / Kibana (ELK) maintenance and configuration for observability\nPython scripting and development for automation and tool building\nRelational Databases such as Amazon RDS, PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL, or Percona\nHAProxy for load balancing and high availability\nMongoDB for NoSQL data management\nJava / Spring Boot troubleshooting with error log analysis\nKafka Message Broker for distributed messaging\nHazelcast Memory Cache for in-memory data processing\nNiFi maintenance and configuration for data flow automation\nKubernetes for container orchestration\nZookeeper for distributed system coordination\nNginx Web Server for hosting and reverse proxying\nMonitoring and Alerting tools to ensure system reliability\nAgile software development practices for iterative delivery\nJira and Confluence for project tracking and documentation\nPhysical Demands\nAbility to work in an office environment (Constant)\nRequired to sit and stand for long periods; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard (Frequent)\nSalary Range: $150,000 - $220,000\nThe AV pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
