Our scope spans Engineering, prototype builds, through full production, requiring teams that can move fast, adapt, and execute with precision.\n\nGTI Values: Safety I Quality I Customer Obsession I Speed I Agility\n\nPosition Overview\nThe QC Technician is responsible for the inspection and testing of materials and finished products at various stages of the manufacturing process to ensure they comply with all applicable laws, industry codes & standards, as well as Company and Customer specifications/standards.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nDevelop and maintain inspection reports.\n\nEnsure compliance with federal and state laws, as well as company standards and specifications.\n\nMaintain calibration of quality control equipment.\n\nPerform inspections across all stages of production.\n\nPrepare and maintain test data for review.\n\nEvaluate data and draft reports, noting any relevant deviations from existing standards.\n\nIdentify areas for quality control improvement and implement new methods accordingly.\n\nCommunicate quality or compliance concerns with urgency.\n\nOther duties as assigned by the QA Manager.\n\nRequirements\n\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.\n\nSolid understanding of measuring, inspection and test equipment.\n\n1-3 years of quality control experience\n\nMinimum of 2-5 years of inspection and/or production experience in the metals fabrication industry.\n\nVisual weld and welding inspection experience.\n\nProficiency with Microsoft Office programs, specifically Excel.\n\nStrong working knowledge of various mathematical concepts including fractions, ratios, and proportions.\n\nAbility to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally.\n\nSpecific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.(minimum required visual acuity - 20/20 corrected or uncorrected)\n\nDemonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.\n\nExcellent organizational skills.\n\nDemonstrated ability to analyze and interpret information.\n\nAbility to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and fabrication drawings.\n\nBenefits & Perks\nGTI Energy offers a competitive compensation and benefits package designed to support employees and their families while providing long-term career growth opportunities within a fast-growing manufacturing organization.
