Residential Support Specialist- Part Time

Through physical, recreational, and social activities, we help our clients develop life skills. We are seeking energetic, cheerful individuals to assist adults with developmental disabilities in all aspects of daily living. Starting pay is $17.00 per hour Shifts available: 6am-10am Monday - Friday 11am-8pm Saturday & Sunday 3pm-12am Saturday & Sunday 2:30pm- 8:30pm Tuesday, Wednesday, & Friday -Paid training-No experience required & paid for the training that you receive on the job Residential Trainers/Caregivers promote healthy lifestyles and support residents' daily activities in their homes by: - Assisting with meal planning and preparation - Teaching and completing housekeeping from laundry to chores - Teaching personal resource management skills - Reporting any shopping needs - Encouraging community participation - Engaging residents in physical and social activities - Providing direct care and assisting with personal hygiene and medication REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Must be at least 18 years old High school diploma or equivalent (GED) Stable work history and record of excellent attendance and dependability. Must be in good physical condition and able to stand for long periods, kneel, bend at the waist, and lift and carry at least 50 pounds Able to pass a criminal background check Valid Utah driver's license and a good driving record is preferred but not required. NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED! We provide ongoing training to help you excel in your position.
