Commercial Lender

This is a banking positionThis role is responsible for originating and managing commercial lending relationships while expanding core deposit balances within the local business community. The ideal candidate brings strong tenure in commercial banking, a proven ability to structure and close complex commercial loans, and a track record of developing long-term client relationships. This opportunity is well-suited for a banker from a community or mid-sized bank environment who is seeking a platform with reasonable production expectations, strong credit support, and the ability to build and grow a meaningful commercial portfolio.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage a portfolio of commercial clients throughout the West Palm Beach market.Originate, structure, and close commercial loan transactions, with typical deal sizes exceeding $20MM.Generate and grow commercial deposit relationships, targeting $4MM+ in deposit production.Build and maintain relationships with business owners, real estate investors, and professional referral partners.Analyze borrower financial statements and structure credit facilities in partnership with credit administration.Identify opportunities to cross-sell treasury management, deposit products, and other commercial banking services.Conduct ongoing portfolio management including financial reviews, covenant monitoring, and relationship maintenance.Ensure all lending activities comply with internal credit policy, regulatory guidelines, and sound risk management practices.QualificationsProven experience as a Commercial Banker or Commercial Lender within a banking institution.Familiar with West Palm Beach MarketDemonstrated ability to originate and manage commercial loan relationships of $20MM or greater.Track record of generating $4MM+ in deposits or similar relationship balances.Experience working within a community bank or mid-sized financial institution environment preferred.Strong credit analysis and commercial loan structuring skills.Highly professional with strong relationship-building and networking abilities.Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
