Regional Vice President of Sales

We're partnering with a hyper-growth, PE-backed SaaS company at the intersection of AI, financial software, and property operations. They've just raised a significant growth investment at a unicorn valuation and are now hiring a West Coast Sales Director to scale an already-strong AE team across one of their largest, highest-potential territories.The OpportunityAs West Coast Sales Director, you'll inherit a team of ~5 Account Executives (partly ramped, hungry, and coachable). You'll lead complex, six-figure SaaS sales cycles with 3–5+ stakeholders, often involving banking partners and, in many cases, asking customers to change or expand banking relationships as part of the solution.This is a remote role, but not a "sit-on-Zoom" job. You'll be in-market with customers and reps across the Western US, with a particular emphasis on California (the company's second-largest TAM).What You'll DoLead and develop a high-performing West Coast AE team focused on new business across SMB and Enterprise segmentsOwn regional performance against annual new business quotas (SMB quota guideline around $700K; Enterprise around $1.2M, with typical deal sizes near $150K)Drive rigorous deal execution using a structured MEDDICC methodology: deep qualification, stakeholder mapping, and disciplined forecastingPartner with banks and financial partners, navigating existing relationships and helping prospects through the friction of changing or adding banking providersWork closely with peer regional sales leaders (East & Central) and the executive team to align territory strategy, segmentation, and coverageSpend significant time in the field: ride-alongs, customer meetings, events, and on-site sessions to support larger and more complex dealsCoach reps on multi-threading deals, building business cases, and selling an AI-first, operationally critical platform into sophisticated buyersWhat We're Looking For2–4+ years of proven front-line SaaS sales leadership (minimum 2 years in a true leadership seat)Experience leading complex B2B SaaS deals with 3–5+ stakeholders and multi-step evaluationsBackground in financial software, fintech, banking technology, or adjacent (e.g., platforms like nCino/Encino, core banking, treasury, or financial operations tools) strongly preferredDemonstrated success building, coaching, and elevating an AE team – you've turned good reps into great ones and built repeatable habits around pipeline, process, and executionFamiliarity with MEDDPICC or similar enterprise sales methodologiesHigh energy, competitive mindset, and genuine team orientation – you invest in your people rather than simply "cracking the whip."Someone your reps want to pull into deals: approachable, credible, and the kind of leader you'd happily "grab a beer with" after a long day in the fieldWhy This Role Is CompellingJoin a category leader with fresh capital and a clear plan to invest in AI-driven innovation and GTM scaleStep into a critical, high-visibility region with significant whitespace and strong existing momentumInherit a team instead of starting from scratch, while still having a clear path to build and scale headcountWork with a CRO and leadership team who value coaching, thoughtful process, and long-term growth over short‐term pressure#J-18808-Ljbffr
