Work is either office-based or partially remote with no regular job-site presence required.\n\nDuties And Responsibilities\n\nWork closely with the PMIS Implementation Manager to facilitate standardized set-up of new projects across the company\n\nAssist in configuring and maintaining PMIS platforms, ensuring document control workflows, cost structures, schedules, and reporting tools are properly established\n\nInterpret contract documents to support accurate project startup and alignment with procedural requirements\n\nCollaborate with project managers and field teams to establish implementation schedules, reporting templates, and project controls workflows\n\nAssist with implementing cost control tools, budget structures, and tracking methods as directed by the Implementation Manager or project controls team\n\nPrepare and facilitate project kickoff documentation, startup meetings, agendas, and action item tracking\n\nGather, validate, and organize project startup data to support dashboards, analytics, and reporting\n\nProvide project teams with guidance on PMIS navigation, workflows, and best practices and help promote consistent use of the system\n\nContribute to ongoing improvements in digital processes, documentation standards, and PMIS configuration\n\nMaintain professional communication with internal stakeholders and external partners as needed for project startup and ongoing support\n\nOther duties as assigned\n\nRequirements\nEducation and Experience\n\nBachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, data science, or related field is required, OR Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, or related Technology Certifications and at least 3 years’ related work experience is required\n\nMinimum 1 year of experience or internship in construction management or a related discipline is required\n\nKnowledge And Skills\n\nAdvanced computer skills and data management proficiency is required\n\nWorking knowledge and experience in Kahua, Procore and similar PMIS platforms is required\n\nWillingness to learn advanced PMIS functions and support consistent system use across projects is required\n\nUnderstanding of roles and responsibilities between contractor, owner, designer, and construction manager are required\n\nKnowledge of construction cost and document management processes and best practices are required\n\nEffective verbal communication skills, including the ability to foster and maintain effective interpersonal relationships are required\n\nStrong written communication, scheduling, coordination, and documentation skills are required\n\nAbility to train new users of technology, including PMIS platforms is required\n\nProblem-solving skills and the ability to adjust based on user feedback is required\n\nAbility to work with support multiple project teams simultaneously is required\n\nCommitment to the values of Kitchell with attention to honesty and integrity, quality of work, client satisfaction, people development, profitability and managing change is required\n\nKnowledge of construction processes, workflows, and contract structures is preferred\n\nAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products is preferred\n\nExperience as an Administrator (Admin Role) of PMIS and data management platforms, such as Kahua, Procore and Power BI is preferred\n\nInterest or foundational experience in data analytics, dashboards, or analytical tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel) is preferred\n\nInterest in project controls, including cost, schedule, and performance reporting is preferred\n\nDemonstrated analytical thinking, initiative, teamwork, and follow-through is preferred\n\nLicense and Certifications\n\nConstruction Manager in Training (CMIT) certification is preferred\n\nA valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record, free from suspensions or restrictions is required\n\nTravel Requirement\nLimited travel may be required up to 25% of the time. The ability to drive a motorized vehicle is needed.\n\nWork Environment\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a general, climate controlled, office environment.
