Java Developer with TAX application

Job Description Title – Java Developer with Tax application experienceLocation – Plano, Tx – OnsiteDuration – Full-Time Key Skills – Java , Angular , Spring/Spring Boot , Tax Applications experience.Develop and maintain enterprise-grade backend services using Java and Spring/Spring Boot.Build scalable APIs and microservices supporting multiple platforms and business workflows.Design, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries and schemas in MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL.Develop responsive, enterprise-level UI components using Angular.Integrate frontend applications with backend REST APIs for seamless data exchange.Support external vendor integrations, including file preparation and transmission.Work with structured file formats (CSV, fixed-width, XML, JSON) and implement validation and error-handling controls.Ensure data accuracy through reconciliation processes and robust integration workflows.(Nice-to-have) Collaborate on secure API and network-layer designs, including exposure to API Gateway platforms like Apigee.Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable enterprise applicationsExperience working with major tax engines and compliance vendors.Strong understanding of how software supports tax calculation, compliance data preparation, and reporting.Ability to manage and validate tax-related data outputs, ensuring accuracy and audit readiness.Proven experience operating in controlled, compliance‑heavy environments with strict regulatory timelines.Strong focus on data accuracy, auditability, and adherence to regulatory deadlines across tax workflows.
