Join our team.\nAbout the Role\nGap Inc. is seeking a dynamic and strategic Vice President of Analytics and Insights to lead data-driven decision-making across critical business functions, including Customer Experience, Merchandising, Inventory, and Design. Partner closely with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes through data-driven decision-making.\nData Storytelling: Develop compelling data narratives that translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leadership, providing insights that support business growth and innovation.\nInsights-Driven Strategy: Use data and analytics to provide thought leadership and strategic direction. Guide the organization’s approach to leveraging customer, market, and operational data to drive business impact and competitive advantage.\nActionable Recommendations: Lead teams in generating business-critical insights, identifying trends, and making data-backed recommendations to improve customer experience, optimize merchandising strategies, streamline inventory management, and enhance product design.\nCross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with senior leadership, business units, and product teams to ensure alignment of insights and analytics with overall company strategy. Build strong partnerships across product, engineering, marketing, and finance teams to influence decision-making.\nInnovation and Best Practices: Stay at the forefront of industry trends and emerging analytics methodologies to continuously evolve the company's analytics capabilities. Introduce best practices in data analytics, AI, machine learning, and data science to solve business challenges.\nTeam Leadership: Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of analysts, data scientists, and insight professionals.
