This software powers data acquisition systems deployed on drilling rigs and is a key component of customer operations.\n\nThe team is replacing a legacy platform that has been in production for 30+ years and migrating the application to a modern cloud-native architecture. This engineer will lead the DevSecOps effort by modernizing deployment processes, building secure CI/CD pipelines, and enabling the application to run within Kubernetes while supporting both legacy and next-generation deployment models.\n\nThis is a highly visible role where you will serve as the team's DevSecOps subject matter expert, partnering closely with developers and QA to drive automation, security, and operational excellence.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nDesign, build, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.\n\nLead the migration of an existing Windows-installed application to a Kubernetes-based deployment model.\n\nSupport both traditional software installation packages (InstallShield) and modern containerized deployments during the migration.\n\nDeploy and manage applications within Kubernetes (AKS preferred).\n\nIntegrate DevSecOps best practices throughout the software development lifecycle, including:\n\nStatic Application Security Testing (SAST)\n\nDynamic Application Security Testing (DAST)\n\nDependency and vulnerability scanning\n\nSecrets management\n\nCollaborate with software developers and QA engineers to implement secure, automated release processes.\n\nImprove deployment automation, release reliability, and environment consistency.\n\nMaintain and enhance Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM, or similar).\n\nMonitor application performance, security, and platform health.\n\nDrive continuous improvements in DevOps processes, tooling, and operational standards.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\n5+ years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, or Cloud Engineering.\n\nStrong experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.\n\nHands-on Kubernetes experience (AKS preferred).\n\nExperience containerizing and deploying .NET applications.\n\nKnowledge of secure software delivery practices and DevSecOps principles.\n\nFamiliarity with SAST, DAST, vulnerability management, and secure coding practices.\n\nExperience with Git and modern source control workflows.\n\nExperience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.\n\nStrong troubleshooting and automation skills.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nExperience supporting legacy Windows application deployments and modernization initiatives.\n\nKnowledge of InstallShield or similar installer technologies.\n\nExperience with Docker and container image management.\n\nExperience with security tools such as SonarQube, Snyk, Checkmarx, or Microsoft Defender for Cloud.\n\nFamiliarity with Azure monitoring and observability tools.\n\nExperience working within Agile development teams.\n\nTechnical Environment\n\nMicrosoft Azure\n\nAzure DevOps\n\nAzure Pipelines\n\nKubernetes (AKS)\n\nDocker\n\nC# / .NET\n\nTerraform / Bicep / ARM\n\nGit\n\nInstallShield\n\nSAST / DAST Security Tools\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nWe're looking for someone who can step in as the DevSecOps leader for the team.
