We are currently looking for a Full-time Senior and Junior Estimators at our Austin, TX facility. Even Pet Insurance!\r\nQuarterly Team Lunches\r\nResponsibilities:(Included, but not limited to)\r\nConduct detailed analysis of project specifications and designs to develop accurate cost estimates for semiconductor projects.\r\nCollaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure all project requirements are understood and reflected in the estimates.\r\nGather and analyze data on materials, labor, equipment, and other costs to create comprehensive cost models.\r\nProvide detailed breakdowns of costs and develop budgets that align with project goals and constraints.\r\nDevelop and manage a database of historical cost data and project estimates for reference in future projects.\r\nWork closely with procurement teams to obtain vendor quotes and ensure alignment with cost estimates.\r\nAssist in the preparation of bid proposals and tender documents for new projects.\r\nEnsure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements in all estimating activities.\r\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with customers, clients, and key stakeholders throughout the estimating and proposal process.\r\nServe as a point of contact for customers regarding project scope, pricing assumptions, and estimate clarifications.\r\nCollaborate with sales, business development, and project teams to support customer proposals and account growth initiatives.\r\nParticipate in customer meetings, site visits, and project reviews to understand client requirements and develop accurate estimates.\r\nExperience Levels:\r\nJunior Estimator:\r\n13 years of estimating, project controls, engineering, construction, manufacturing, or related experience.\r\nExposure to semiconductor, high-tech manufacturing, industrial construction, or similar industries preferred.\r\nStrong willingness to learn estimating methodologies, systems, and industry practices.\r\nSenior Estimator\r\n5+ years of estimating experience within the semiconductor, high-tech manufacturing, industrial construction, or related industries.\r\nProven ability to lead estimate development for complex projects.\r\nExperience mentoring junior estimators and collaborating with project stakeholders.\r\nStrong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, facilities, and technologies.\r\nProven experience managing key customer relationships and serving as a trusted advisor during project planning and budgeting phases.\r\nAbility to lead customer-facing discussions regarding estimates, value engineering opportunities, project risks, and cost optimization strategies.\r\nExperience supporting strategic accounts and contributing to business development efforts through accurate and competitive proposals.Qualifications:Experience managing customer relationships and supporting account management activities.\r\nStrong customer service orientation with the ability to build trust and credibility with clients.\r\nAbility to effectively communicate technical and commercial information to both internal and external stakeholders.\r\nExperience supporting sales, business development, or client-facing project activities is preferred.\r\nDemonstrated ability to balance customer expectations with project objectives and company goals.\r\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\r\nAbility to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation.\r\nProficiency with estimating software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel).\r\nExcellent attention to detail and accuracy.\r\nEffective communication and interpersonal skills.\r\nAbility to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.\r\nStrong organizational and time-management skills.\r\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.\r\nFamiliarity with industry standards, safety requirements, and regulatory compliance.\r\nAdaptability to evolving technologies, processes, and project requirements.\r\nAbility to strive in a fast-paced environment\r\nAbout Us:\r\nFounded in 2004, Apparent Technologies, Inc. provides machining, design and high purity welding services, specializing in Hastelloy HC22 and stainless.
