Includes: controlling and maintaining bird health with aid of all available facilities, and equipment to include vehicular, industrial safety and maintenance awareness programs.\n\nImplementing and controlling field compliance with grow out, disease prevention, safety and quality programs.\n\nCoordinating all ranch functions and insuring accurate completion.\n\nCoordinating labor needs and scheduling accordingly.\n\nCompleting wage records and personnel evaluations on all subordinate employees.\n\nEmployee development and training. Ensuring that all company policies and procedures are followed.\n\nAdminister employee disciplinary actions and assist with the hiring and firing of employees as needed.\n\nQualifications\n\nMinimum 1-2 years of successful chicken grow out supervisory experience.\n\nStrong Animal Science background (a Bachelor of Science Degree in Poultry Science, Ag‑Business or related field is preferred).\n\nMust have strong oral and written communication skills.\n\nMust have strong leadership/supervisor skills with the ability to act independently and be able to evaluate fairly and objectively.\n\nMust be able to work flexible work schedules as needed to include weekends, holidays, late and early morning hours.\n\nMust have good computer skills and the ability to create and analyze data.\n\nAbility to interface with all support groups, departments and upper management.\n\nMust be able to work independently/unsupervised and have strong time management skills.\n\nMust have and maintain a good DMV driving record.\n\nBilingual English/Spanish is helpful.\n\nEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities\nThis employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
