Eaton’s Power Reliability Division is on the lookout for an innovative Product Engineer to join our dynamic Line Installation and Protection Equipment (LIPE) Engineering team at our Olean, NY site. Relocation assistance is offered.\n\nAs a pivotal member of our Product Engineering Team, you will collaborate closely with the Engineering Manager, driving the technical design and development of cutting-edge Arrester products. Your expertise will ensure the robustness and compliance of both new and existing products, setting industry standards and pushing the boundaries of innovation.\n\nEssential Responsibilities\nCollaborative Production Support: Partner closely with our Olean and Queretaro, MX production teams, providing expert advice on design-related questions to ensure top-notch product quality and compliance with required standards.\nInnovative Product Development: Lead New Product Development programs, ensuring Prolaunch and program management updates stay on track for the timely rollout of groundbreaking products.\nMentorship & Best Practices: Guide and mentor fellow engineers on best practices for documentation and design tolerancing, fostering both personal and organizational growth.\nRoot Cause Analysis: Champion problem-solving techniques to effectively address and resolve root causes, driving continuous improvement.\nProcess Optimization: Review and refine Operation Method Sheets to ensure critical process parameters are well-documented, contributing to a robust, repeatable, and efficient process. Implement changes to enhance quality, effectiveness, and efficiency.\nQualifications:\nBasic (Required) Qualifications:\n\nBachelor of Science in Engineering from an accredited institution.\nMinimum of three years of engineering experience.\nEaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
