Veterinary Hospital Manager

East Bend Animal Hospital is looking for a Multi-site Hospital Manager to serve two veterinary hospitals in the Bend area. We are seeking servant leaders with proven success in people management, who share our growth mindset and drive to foster outstanding team culture! In this role, your homebase will be East Bend Animal Hospital, with additional coverage at our sister location, Westside Pet Hospital. This is a full-time position, primarily comprised of Monday-Friday coverage with flexibility to assist on weekends based on hospital need. Your Qualifications: 5+ years of veterinary hospital management experience (other transferrable management experience considered) Financial acumen and experience managing budgets such as revenue and payroll Experience managing the development and growth of teams Demonstrates emotional intelligence and strong conflict management skills Excellent interpersonal, listening, written and verbal communication skills Experience with Microsoft suite and various practice management systems (AviMark preferred) Marketing knowledge and experience Self-directed and able to work independently, as well as collaboratively within a team CVPM strongly preferred! What are your primary responsibilities? As Hospital Manager, you will partner with our Medical Directors, collaborate with our doctors, and guide our support staff. While this position is focused on people leadership and administrative responsibilities, the Hospital Manager should be ready to assist the team in various areas if the need arises. This position will rotate time between our two locations and help lead day-to-day operations between each site. Our doctors provide all routine services as well as tumor/lump removal, bone/fracture repair, cryptosporidiosis treatment for reptiles, digatherm thermal imaging, digital radiology, and exotic pet surgery. Westside Pet Hospital is a 3 doctor full-service small animal and exotic practice. We take an extremely thorough approach to animal health care because we believe in treating the whole pet – body, mind, and spirit.
