{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"2e95d4291dc815fdee7cc664","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/2e95d4291dc815fdee7cc664","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/2e95d4291dc815fdee7cc664","title":"CNC Programmer","description":"*CNC Programmer Job Description*\n\n*Job Summary*\n*Responsibilities:*\n\nAnalyze drawings and specifications, to determine optimal tooling and machining processes.\n\nProgram both lathes and mills effectively\n\nBe familiar with 2-axis lathes vertical and horizontal, horizontal machining centers both full 4th and positioning table, be familiar with horizontal boring mills (contouring head a plus).\n\nUnderstand machine setup and fixturing\n\nCreate programs to produce quality parts making efficient use of tooling.\n\nWork with management and production team to implement the company’s policies and business objectives.\n\nCalculate optimum spindle speed and feed rates for specific functions and specific materials.\n\nSelect proper cutting tools for maximum efficiency and safety.\n\nPerform manufacturability reviews for new jobs and provide feedback to the management team to aid in the preparation of standard times.\n\nCollaborate with engineers and designers to provide optimal parts.\n\nTroubleshoot and resolve program or tooling issues to ensure smooth production flow.\n\nMaintain accurate documentation of CNC programs, tooling, fixturing, and machining set-ups.\n\nAdhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.\n\n*Qualifications*\n\nBe familiar with common measuring and gauging techniques and equipment\n\nProven track record of programming mills and lathes using industry-standard software.\n\nAbility to read and interpret prints, specs engineering, and manufacturing drawings.\n\nSolid understanding of mathematics, including geometry and trigonometry.\n\nStrong knowledge of cutting tools and tooling.\n\nStrong knowledge of G and M codes in Fanuc controls.\n\n*Experience:*\n\nMinimum of 5 years experience as a CNC Programmer in a manufacturing environment, using industry-standard software to create programs for CNC lathes and mills.\n\nStrong experience with Auto CAD or similar drawing or modeling software.\n\nPrevious experience running CNC lathes and mills with Fanuc controls\n\nFamiliarity with various machines\n\nJob Type: Full-time\n\nIf you are passionate about precision engineering and have the skills required to excel as a CNC Programmer, we encourage you to apply and become part of our innovative team!\n\nJob Type: Full-time\n\nPay: $30.00 -
