You will work closely with AI Architects, Principal Engineers, and cross-functional teams to implement scalable, high-quality systems across AI, cloud, data, and software engineering. This role is ideal for experienced engineers who enjoy strong technical execution, contributing to solution-level design, and growing toward technical leadership while operating at the leading edge of applied AI.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nDesign and implement components for AI, ML, and data science initiatives.\r\nTranslate business and technical requirements into well-structured designs, code, and implementation tasks.\r\nContribute as a senior individual-contributor on AI-focused workstreams, supporting high-quality execution and delivery outcomes.\r\nBuild, test, and deploy AI, ML, cloud, analytics, and software solutions in production environments.\r\nCollaborate with AI Architects and senior engineers to align implementation decisions with broader architectural direction.\r\nContribute to technical excellence through code reviews, shared ownership of quality, and knowledge sharing.\r\nSupport discovery and delivery activities by providing technical input, estimates, and feasibility feedback.\r\nStay current with emerging AI technologies and apply them thoughtfully to client solutions.\r\nQualifications\r\nBachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent hands-on engineering experience.\r\nSolid experience in software engineering with delivery of production-grade systems.\r\nPractical experience in one or more of the following areas, with working knowledge across others:\r\nAI/ML & Agentic Systems\r\nImplementing GenAI solutions and agent-based workflows\r\nIntegrating LLMs, embeddings, and retrieval systems\r\nSupporting ML/LLMOps pipelines and experimentation frameworks\r\nBuilding cloud-native applications on Azure and/or AWS.\r\nApplying distributed systems and scalability patterns.\r\nImplementing data pipelines, vector stores, and analytics workloads.\r\nWorking with structured and unstructured data sources.\r\nSoftware Engineering\r\nProficiency in Python, SQL, Java, C++, or similar languages.\r\nExperience with modern frameworks, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.\r\nPreferred Certifications (or equivalent experience)\r\nAWS: ML Specialty, AI Practitioner, ML Engineer, or Solutions Architect.\r\nAzure: AI Engineer Associate, Data Scientist Associate, Generative AI Fundamentals.\r\nWho You Are\r\nA capable technologist who communicates clearly with engineers, architects, and stakeholders.\r\nComfortable operating in delivery-focused environments with guidance from senior leaders.\r\nCollaborative and effective working within cross-functional teams.\r\nMotivated to grow through mentorship, feedback, and hands-on experience.\r\nDriven to build real-world AI systems that deliver measurable business value.\r\nWhat you can expect\r\nFreedom to work from another location—even an international destination—for up to 30 consecutive calendar days per year.\r\nFull medical, dental, vision, and company 401k match.\r\nSalary Range – $120,000 – $135,000\r\nThe position described above provides a summary of some of the job duties required and what it would be like to work at Insight.
