Contract Manager (Hybrid position in Towson, MD) Must live within a commutable distance.
The first week of the project will be onsite in Towson, MD. After that, it's a hybrid role with 3 days/week onsite in Towson and 2 days/week remote. We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager to support IT procurement and contract administration activities within a public-sector environment. This role focuses on helping ensure the timely, cost-effective, and compliant acquisition of goods and services while supporting operational and vendor management needs.The Contract Manager will work closely with procurement, legal, and technical stakeholders to manage the full lifecycle of IT-related contracts, from solicitation through execution and closeout. This includes coordinating with internal teams and external vendors to maintain compliance, support procurement workflows, and ensure contracts are executed efficiently and accurately.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the development, drafting, and administration of IT-related solicitations (RFBs, RFPs, RFQs)Assist in managing Requests for Information (RFIs), vendor communications, demonstrations, and Q&A processesCoordinate procurement activities including kick-off meetings, pre-proposal sessions, approvals, and document reviewsTrack contracts through legal, procurement, and internal approval workflowsMonitor contract financials including funding levels, burn rates, and expendituresSupport contract lifecycle management including renewals, amendments, scope changes, and vendor performance trackingEnsure proper documentation is maintained for all contracts and procurement activities (digital and physical records as required)Communicate contract requirements, processes, and updates across stakeholdersSupport scheduling, meeting coordination, agendas, notes, and action item tracking for contract-related activitiesAssist with day-to-day procurement operations and vendor coordinationPerform other related duties as neededMinimum QualificationsExperience supporting IT procurement within a government or public-sector environmentFamiliarity with enterprise IT procurement or large-scale program support3+ years of contract management experience3+ years of IT administrative or IT support experience4+ years of Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)Strong understanding of IT infrastructure conceptsBachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experienceExcellent organizational, coordination, and multitasking abilitiesStrong written and verbal communication skillsPowered by JazzHR
