Joining our team means contributing to a positive and impactful role within the community. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Police Officer based in Fort Valley, GA. The Police Officer will be responsible for maintaining public safety, enforcing laws, and protecting life and property. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, responding to emergencies, gathering evidence, participating in criminal investigations, and engaging with the community to build strong relationships. Officers must also prepare detailed reports and collaborate with other law enforcement agencies when needed. Qualifications Experience in law enforcement, police operations, and effective execution of public safety measures.Proficiency in gathering evidence and conducting criminal investigations to solve cases and uphold justice.Strong knowledge of legal procedures, regulations, and law enforcement principles.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills, with an ability to engage with diverse populations.Physical and mental fitness to perform the duties of a Police Officer, including handling high-pressure situations.Completion of accredited police training academy or equivalent. GAPOST certification is required.Possession of a valid driver’s license.Prior experience in public safety or criminal justice is a plus but not required.
