The world runs on data. Data runs on STACK.The PositionThe Data Center Security Supervisor is responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and orderly environment. This role supports and supervises day-to-day security operations, security systems, incident response, ensuring the protection of personnel, infrastructure, and customer assets in a 24/7 facility.ResponsibilitiesThe Security Supervisor reports directly to the Data Center Security Manager (DCSM). They will partner closely with Critical Operations, Facilities, IT, and onsite clients to ensure security programs and systems operate as designed and support uninterrupted data center operations. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Support construction and operations through a security lens through transition to steady-state operationsSupervisor and execute physical security operations for assigned areasOperate, monitor, and troubleshoot physical security systems, including access control, CCTV/VMS, alarms, and responding to suspicious activityAnalyze system performance and support programming or technical security projectsRespond to security incidents and site emergencies, ensuring appropriate actions, reporting, and escalations to the DCSMSupervise security reports, logs, and pass-downs; ensure accurate documentation and communicationIdentify and report maintenance or safety hazards (lighting issues, broken gates, damaged equipment, etc.)Build and maintain strong client and site relationships through frequent communication and supportTrack security metrics and drive continuous improvement initiativeSupervise contract guard service programs, including performance oversight and issue resolutionThe DetailsLocation: San Jose, CATravel: Less than 5%Benefits: Healthcare, Dental Care, Vision Insurance, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Paid Leave ProgramsMust be eligible to work in the United StatesMust pass a comprehensive background and drug screeningMust-have QualificationsExperience supporting data centers (hyperscale, enterprise, or colocation) or other mission-critical environmentsExperience managing 24/7 security operations, guard staffing, patrols, and post ordersHands-on working knowledge of IP video surveillance and network-based access control systemsExperience managing contract guard services and site security teamsProficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsStrong incident response, investigation, and report-writing skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-availability environment with shifting prioritiesThis Might Be Right For You IfYou are a strong communicator, you are persuasive and clear, blending analytics with experience in decision-making.You do not get flustered easily.
