This role ensures high-quality clinical operations, regulatory compliance, staff development, and effective program performance in alignment with the agency’s mission.\nKey Responsibilities\nProvide leadership and supervision to Clinical Supervisors, clinical staff, and administrative leadership as assigned.\nOversee daily operations, program planning, implementation, evaluation, and continuous quality improvement.\nEnsure compliance with OMH, OASAS, CARF, and all state and federal regulations.\nMonitor audits, data reporting, quality assurance activities, and implement corrective action plans as needed.\nCollaborate with executive leadership, finance, medical directors, and external stakeholders to ensure program effectiveness and fiscal sustainability.\nSupport staff recruitment, training, onboarding, supervision, and professional development.\nRepresent the agency at community and stakeholder meetings.\nRespond to emergent or crisis situations as needed.\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities\nStrong leadership, supervisory, and project management skills.\nAdvanced knowledge of mental health and substance use disorder treatment.\nExperience with regulatory compliance, audits, and program evaluation.\nAbility to analyze data, oversee documentation, and prepare reports.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to work collaboratively across departments and with community partners.\nQualifications\nMaster’s degree in mental health counseling, social work, or a related field.\nMinimum of 3 years of clinical experience in mental health and/or substance use treatment.\nAt least 3 years of supervisory experience preferred.\nLicensure required (LCSW, LMHC-D preferred).\nValid driver’s license required.\nMust meet NYS OASAS training requirements, including Clinical Supervision Foundations I & II.\nThis job description is intended to provide a description of essential job functions that are used in order to assess employee performance.
