We’re a collaborative, supportive team that cares deeply about our mission, our customers, and each other.\n\nThe Opportunity\n\nWe’re looking for smart, creative, and driven engineers to test new safety and notification features for InformaCast, to solve difficult test automation problems, and to improve the speed and reliability with which we release new features to our customers.\n\nInformaCast covers a wide technical footprint: cloud and on-premises notification delivery, incident management for active emergencies, wearable panic button hardware (BLE/LoRaWAN), mobile/desktop applications, IP phone/speaker integrations, and enterprise-scale administrative tools.\n\nWhat You Will Do\n\nFind and document bugs in everything you look at, with or without automation\nWrite clean, reusable automated API and UI tests\nMaintain existing test suites, investigate failures, and improve test reliability\nCreate and improve tooling to effectively test our system at scale\nCollaborate with a cross-functional team to make decisions on features, design, technology, and architecture\nContribute to internal documentation about the product\nWhat We Are Looking For\n\nRequired Qualifications:\n\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or another technical discipline (or equivalent combination of education/experience).\nExperience:\n2+ years experience in software testing\nDemonstrated prowess at bug finding and reporting\nProven ability to develop test strategies independently\n2+ years experience in test automation\nProficiency in a scripting language like Groovy or Python\nExperience designing, implementing, and maintaining automated tests\nDemonstrated ability to solve technical problems independently\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\nExperience with any of the following technologies:\nUI automation: Playwright\nTest specification: Spock\nDelivery and deployment: GitLab CI, Jenkins\nExperience in functional non-UI test automation, e.g. at the API layer\nExperience in testing distributed systems at scale\nExperience in performance or scale testing of large systems\nOur Culture\n\nAt Singlewire, we believe what we do truly matters.
