This role requires a high level of communication and coordination with team members as well as clients. This role will be expected to assist in research and help develop solutions for clients.\n\nMajor Responsibilities and Essential Functions\n\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.\n\nProvide expertise in various aspects of control systems design as well as other functions as required.\nDesign control panels, creating electrical schematics, and draft networking details and using AutoCAD.\nResearch and analyze client requests associated with control systems.\nParticipate in planning, cost development, and scheduling for projects.\nCoordinate with various engineering groups including electrical and mechanical fields to assist in designing systems for projects.\nDevelopment and troubleshooting of PLC and HMI programming for control systems\nDevelop and test electrical controls systems and networks as project requirements dictate.\nCommunicate with clients, vendors, and relevant stakeholders on projects.\nPerform troubleshooting of electrical systems in the field.\nParticipate in team and group meetings.\nAll other duties as assigned.\n\nQualifications\n\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical or Controls Engineering or related field.\n5-10 years of relevant experience in a related field.\nKnowledge of HMI, PLC, and DCS systems design.\nKnowledge of control system networking.\nKnowledge of process control instrumentation.\nAbility to accurately interpret and critically evaluate design drawings, schematics, and systems.\nAbility to meet tight deadlines and maintain quality service while under pressure.\nHigh level of conscientiousness and attention to detail.\nExperience working in a factory environment.\nFamiliarity with working in a GMP environment.\nAbility to work alone or within groups as necessary.\nStrong work ethic.\nProficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.\nProficiency in pdf reader/editor (Bluebeam).\n\nWorking Conditions\n\nThis position routinely operates in a professional office environment with the potential for travel and on-site embedded time. Embedded time may include working environments such as factory floors where industrial machinery is present and in operation.\n\nPhysical Requirements\n\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.\n\nThis role requires the employee to occasionally stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear.
