Remote Education Coach | WFH Opportunity

Job OverviewJoin our dynamic team as a dedicated Education Coach, where you will collaborate closely with site teams to foster nurturing and engaging classroom environments. This pivotal role emphasizes the integration of an anti-bias curriculum and the orchestration of enriching educational experiences for children aged 0 to 5. As an Education Coach, you will exemplify best practices, provide consultation to staff, and offer essential guidance and resources in key areas such as classroom management, individualization, lesson planning, and curriculum implementation.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the Education Manager, Education Specialist, and Regional Team Resource Specialists to offer mentoring, coaching, and guidance to Teachers and Teacher Assistants in their classroom and home visit duties.Assist teaching teams in establishing developmentally appropriate and culturally inclusive learning environments, including the setup of new classrooms.Review lesson plans and daily classroom activities to ensure alignment with educational objectives.Support staff in the effective utilization of classroom space and equipment.Partner with the Education Manager to conduct classroom observations, ensuring the implementation of lesson plans and curriculum, and fostering warm and nurturing environments conducive to children’s learning.Collaborate with the Education Manager and Inclusion & Support Specialist to aid teaching teams in executing support plans for children.Engage in Head Start and Kindergarten Transition meetings as necessary, contributing to organizational processes.Required SkillsProficiency in the use of computers and related information technologies.Strong verbal and written communication skills, facilitating effective interaction with individuals and groups.Ability to accurately follow both written and oral instructions.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Child Development or Early Childhood Education.Minimum of three years of experience in preschool classrooms, with two years of experience in Head Start preferred.Proven track record of working with adults in a teaching or supportive role, demonstrating effective collaboration skills.Valid Driver’s License and access to an insured vehicle with a satisfactory driving record over the past three years.Registration with the Office of Child Care Division’s Central Background Registry.CPR/First Aid Certification or the willingness to obtain it within 60 days of hire.Successful completion of a pre-employment physical examination and passing of pre-employment and random drug/alcohol screenings.Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS) reliability certification or the ability to obtain it.Company Culture And ValuesWe are proud to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within our workforce and the communities we serve.
