Grow with us.\nIn addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate needs the following: Production, Manufacturing, Warehouse, General Labor, Line Operator, Order Picker, Quality Control, Material Handler, Fulfillment, Inbound, Outbound, Loader/Unloader, Shipping, Receiving, Packing, Picking.\nPosition: 1st shift Material Handler\nShift 4:00am – 12:30pm M-F\nHourly Rate: $22.50\nA minimum of (6) months experience preferred in the following:\nOrder Fulfillment as an Order Picker and Packer - to include cross-trained skills across multiple departments - inbound, outbound, auto store, domestic and international shipping, receiving.\nPreparing product for safe shipment and verifying accuracy utilizing using computer, shipping label and/or packing list.\nExperience safely operating an Electric Pallet Jack and RF Scan Gun, or willingness to be trained to use this equipment, is required.\nExperience with a WMS (Warehouse Management System) is highly desired. Examples of WMS systems are JDA, Red Prairie, Blue Yonder, Manhattan, SAP.\nAble to stand for extended periods of time. The position will require standing for up to 90% of the shift.\nMust be able to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds throughout the shift. Shape your world.\n\nRole Purpose:\n\nResponsible for operating powered equipment for the purpose of moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting product. Responsible for checking all inbound and outbound products. Ensures products are free of damage and infestation, product code dates are properly recorded and products match customer requirements.\n\nKey Accountabilities:\n\nPhysically load product onto equipment, pallets or totes more than 20% of specified shift.\nPut-away and pick product for shipment or stock. Insure the exact number and type of products, ordered by the customer, are checked and loaded correctly.\nCompare the quantity, quality, labeling, and address with the customers order to ensure outgoing product shipments are complete and correct.\nChanges equipment battery or LP tank and monitors power source as necessary.\nVerify and report discrepancies such as non-available products and OS&D.\nMaintain the facility and the facilitys equipment in a neat, clean, orderly fashion.
