Work with team of quality, packaging, manufacturing, mechanical and electrical engineers to identify and understand product quality and reliability issues, and material and component failure mechanisms. Mentor other engineers and technicians on the implementation of analytical tools and interpretation of data. Develop test methods to address new analysis requirements and provide training.\nEducation / Qualifications\nBS in Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering\nBackground in analytical techniques such as sample cross-sectioning, optical microscopy, SEM, EDS, mechanical testing, acoustic microscopy, TGA, DSC and TMA.\nKnowledge of basic electronics, troubleshooting and competency in electronics failure analysis and materials testing a plus. Experience in a fast-paced lab environment preferred.\nWorking knowledge/experience in the application of Gage R&R studies, design of experiments and statistical analysis a plus.\n\nCompensation Data\nSalary Range:\n$80,000 - $85,000\nPlease note: This range is based on our current market driven pay structures.
