This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and breaking down bar stations for banquets, weddings, meetings, and special events, following event orders and company standards. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, checking identification, handling cash or POS transactions, maintaining a clean and organized bar, and adhering to all safety and alcohol service regulations. The Banquet Bartender works closely with banquet servers, event coordinators, and kitchen staff to ensure timely service and a positive guest experience throughout each event. The role also requires monitoring inventory during events, restocking supplies, and communicating any guest needs or issues to the appropriate team members.Qualifications Strong customer service and customer satisfaction skills, with a friendly, professional, and guest-focused approach.Clear and courteous communication skills to interact effectively with guests, team members, and event staff.Hands-on experience with food & beverage service in a banquet, bar, restaurant, or hotel environment.Proficiency in bartending, including drink preparation, cocktail knowledge, responsible alcohol service, and basic cash/POS handling.Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry supplies (up to moderate weights), and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Attention to detail, reliability, and strong time-management skills in a fast-paced, event-driven setting.Previous banquet or hospitality experience preferred; relevant certifications (e.g., responsible alcohol service or state/local permits) are a plus.
