Cirrus Logic develops advanced mixed signal integrated circuits (ICs) that often deploy embedded real-time software, including implementation of signal processing algorithms, to complement analog and digital sub-systems. You will join a team of gifted Software Engineers who work alongside teams of analog and digital designers through all stages of product development, from concept to delivery. You will have the opportunity to use your technical skills to build considerable experience within this position, as well as working on ground-breaking projects in an extraordinary environment surrounded by talented engineers.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nAssist in the implementation of real-time embedded software for world-class product\r\nImprove/Add to the use of AI/ML in the development of real-time embedded software\r\nAssist in developing AI agents etc. to aid development of real-time embedded software\r\nLiaise with other cross-functional engineers to understand/meet software requirements\r\nWork with engineering/project mentors/managers to deliver to expectations\r\nFollow and maintain state-of-the-art software development practices including CI/CD\r\nRequired Skills and Qualifications\r\nGreat programming skills in C and Python; familiarity with other scripting/programming languages a plus\r\nExperience with AI/ML commensurate with a pre-undergraduate degree\r\nKnowledge of modern software development practices\r\nFamiliarity with Git and modern Version Control Systems\r\nExperience with processor architectures and efficient real-time implementation\r\nPursuing BS/like degree in Computer/Data Science, Software Engineering or related field\r\nPreferred Skills and Qualifications\r\nConsiderable experience in the use of AI/ML in multiple usage contexts\r\nExtensive experience building agents and working across multiple AI models/engines\r\nExperience working in a global multi-site work environment\r\nExperience with embedded real-time signal processing software implementation\r\nKnowledge of Digital Signal Processing including audio/non-audio applications\r\nExperience deploying embedded software in a mixed-signal IC/SoC context\r\nTechnical understanding of architecting/implementing embedded software\r\nCirrus Logic follows a 2+ day in-office work schedule but interns should expect to be in the office more often, up to 5 days per week, based on business needs and team preference. Interns must be based within commutable distance of the work location listed on the job posting, or willing to relocate prior to beginning their internship with Cirrus Logic.\r\nExport control restrictions based upon applicable laws and regulations would prohibit candidates who are nationals of certain embargoed countries from working in this position without Cirrus Logic first obtaining an export license. Candidates for this role must be able to access technical data without a requirement for an export license.
