Would consider out of the area if exceptional\nJob Description\nPosition Summary:\nThe Business Unit Controller is a key part of the leadership team. Acts as a business partner and advisor to the company President, contributes to all areas of plant management and provides strong financial leadership. Primary responsibilities include supervision of the monthly close process, billings to clients for products & services provided, collection of accounts receivable, accounts payable, monthly reporting, spend and variance analysis, annual preparation of a budget, assist in the preparation of quarterly tax projections and annual tax return preparation, maintaining adequate internal controls, asset management, and cash management. The incumbent will provide financial direction to the business and provide recommendations to improve site performance.Experience/Skills/Specific Knowledge/Education:\nBachelor's and/or master's degree in business administration / Accounting.\nCMA and/or CPA preferred, but not required.\n7+ years' experience in the accounting and finance sector.\n4+ years' experience managing accountants and the accounting and finance process.\n5+ years in a position equivalent to a controller or higher responsibilities.\nStrong knowledge of US GAAP.\nUnderstanding of accounting for a manufacturing company is required (Bills of Material, manufacturing processes).\nSolid understanding of ERP systems.
