Application InstructionsPlease complete application to applyPosition DescriptionThe CAD Drafting position is responsible for creating detailed technical drawings using CAD software, collaborating with design team and contributing to the success of engineering projects. This includes understanding client requirements and translating design concepts into detailed drawings for construction projects.Basic Job Duties:Perform site surveys to help understand project sites and customer solutions.Work with a team to design and produce various site and infrastructure projects.Make changes to onsite plans, blueprints and construction plans as requested.Prepare multiple versions of designs for review by engineers.Understanding spatial relationships to resolve potential interference issues.Communicate issues and foreseeable problems to the Engineering support team quickly.Collaborate with CAD team members to organize work efforts and manage workloads.Ability to work in a team environment and support others in the design and engineering team as requested.Additional duties as assigned.Position RequirementsPosition Requirements:Ability to read blueprints, notes and specifications.Knowledge of design techniques, tools and principles involved in production of precision technical drawings and models.Work in a drug free environment.High School Diploma or GED.Associates Degree in Computer Aided Drafting (or equivalent experience).Experience in AutoCAD, Fabrication CADmep, NavisWorks Manage, Revit, MS Word, MS Excel and Bluebeam a plus.Driver's License RequiredEqual Opportunity Employer
